Yes. Free tier members earn commissions exactly the same way as paid tier members. This article addresses a question we get often.
No tier gating on earnings
Earlier in the program design, we considered restricting earnings to VIP members only — a kind of “only paying members can earn”. We dropped that idea quickly because it was bad for the platform.
The goal of the affiliate program is to grow the community. Free members are the most numerous group on the platform, and many of them are excellent advocates. Locking them out would lose us those introductions.
What Free members get exactly
- The Earnings tab on their dashboard, with full functionality
- A personal invite link
- All six share methods (Email, X, LinkedIn, WhatsApp, QR, Copy)
- The full per-invitee table
- The same $100 per VIP invite that everyone else earns
- Visibility on the public Connector Board
Some of the highest-earning connectors on the platform are Free tier. They have engaged audiences, share authentically, and the commissions add up regardless of their own tier.
Does upgrading help me earn more?
Indirectly. A Pro or VIP profile is more compelling — visitors clicking your invite link land on the homepage but they often check out your profile too. A complete, polished, paid-tier profile is more likely to convert visitors into members. So upgrading isn’t required for earnings, but it can lift your conversion rate.
Tax implications of being a Free-tier earner
The same as any tier — affiliate income is taxable in your jurisdiction. The platform doesn’t withhold taxes; you’re responsible for declaring income. If you’re earning meaningful amounts, talk to an accountant. We’re not your tax advisor.
