Updating your login credentials takes a minute. This article walks through both flows.
Change your password
- Dashboard → Settings → Account
- Click “Change password”
- Enter your current password (for security)
- Enter your new password twice
- Click Save
The new password works immediately. Other devices logged into your account stay logged in until they log out or the session expires (14 days).
Change your email
- Dashboard → Settings → Account
- Click “Change email”
- Enter the new email address
- Enter your current password to confirm
- We send a verification link to the NEW email
- Click the link in that email to confirm
The change takes effect once you click the verification link. Until then, your login email is still the old one.
Don't lose access
Make sure you actually receive email at the new address before initiating the change. If the verification email never arrives and the old email also stops working, you’ll need to contact support to recover the account — which is slower than just doing this carefully.
Common issues
- Verification email not arriving: check spam, wait 5 minutes, then click “Resend” if still missing
- “Email already in use”: someone else has an account with that email. Use a different one, or contact support if you think it’s an error.
- Password change rejected: typically a strength requirement issue — minimum 8 characters, mix of letters and numbers
