Your social links connect visitors to where you’re already active. This article shows how to add them and which ones to prioritize.
How to add social links
- Dashboard → Profile → scroll to Social Links section
- For each platform, paste the full URL to your profile
- Click Save
Supported platforms
- Twitter / X
- YouTube
- TikTok
- Threads
- Personal website
What URL format works
Always paste the full URL with https://:
- ✓
https://linkedin.com/in/yourname - ✓
https://twitter.com/yourhandle - ✗
linkedin.com/in/yourname(missing https) - ✗
@yourhandle(just the username won’t work)
Free tier link unlock
Free tier members can add social links — they’re not gated. Earlier versions of the platform required a paid tier to display social links, but that was removed in a recent update. If you’re on Free and the section seems disabled, refresh your dashboard.
Which links to add
Quality over quantity. 3-5 active accounts beats 8 stale ones. Visitors who click through and find empty profiles bounce.
- Always include LinkedIn if you have one — it’s where event organizers and journalists check first
- Include Twitter/X if you post at least weekly
- Include Instagram if visual content is part of your work
- Personal website always wins — it’s your own real estate
How they appear on your profile
As a row of icons below your bio. On hover, they show the platform name. Click takes the visitor to your account in a new tab.
Removing a link
Clear the field and save. The icon disappears from your profile immediately.
