Adding episodes to your profile

Episodes are appearances you’ve made — podcasts you’ve been on, panels you’ve sat on, talks you’ve given. They build social proof on your profile and link back to the original content.

How to add an episode

  1. Dashboard → Episodes tab
  2. Click “Add episode”
  3. Fill in the form: title, link to the original content, host or show name, description, optional thumbnail
  4. Click Save

Repeat for each episode. There’s no hard cap — add as many as you have, but quality over quantity. Five great episodes beat thirty filler ones.

What makes a good episode entry

  • Real link to the source — Apple Podcasts, Spotify, YouTube, the host’s website. Not just a description.
  • Original episode title — keep the title the host gave it
  • Show name in the description — “On The Wellness Hour podcast” so the connection is clear
  • Thumbnail image — usually the show’s artwork or a still from the episode

Editing or deleting an episode

Hover over an episode in your Episodes tab. Edit and Delete buttons appear. Edit lets you change any field. Delete removes the episode permanently — there’s no trash / undo, so be sure.

Showing only your favorites

The system displays episodes in chronological order by default (newest first). If you want to highlight specific episodes, use the “Sort order” field on each one — lower numbers appear first.

Episodes vs Books — which goes where?

Books = things you wrote. Episodes = things you appeared on. If you wrote a book and were also interviewed about it on a podcast, those are two separate entries — book in Books, podcast appearance in Episodes.
