Where your episode appears after going live

An episode added to your profile shows up in several places. This article maps the touchpoints.

Your public profile

The most prominent placement. Episodes appear in your profile’s Episodes section, in chronological order (newest first). Each one shows the title, show name, date, thumbnail, and a clickable link to the original.

Topic searches

If you’ve tagged the episode with topics (resilience, parenting, leadership, etc.), it surfaces when visitors filter the Leaders directory by those topics.

The Smile Channel homepage rotates a Featured Episodes section pulling from across all member episodes. Inclusion is based on recency, member tier (VIPs have priority), and topic relevance.

Member newsletters

Notable episodes occasionally get featured in the Smile Channel newsletter sent to thousands of readers. The team picks based on relevance to current themes.

Episodes from Smile Channel events specifically also appear in the event’s replay page — a permanent archive accessible to attendees and members.

Search engines

Your profile (and the episode mentions on it) are indexed by Google. So when someone searches “[your name] [topic] podcast”, they may find your Smile Channel profile alongside the original podcast page.

Your One Sheet (Pro+)

Your One Sheet pulls your most notable episodes into a dedicated section. By default it shows the 6 most recent, but you can hand-pick which ones appear.
