Perfect Publishing offers a separate event production service called the Event Operating System (EOS). This article explains what it is and how it relates to The Smile Channel platform.
What EOS is
EOS is a productized service for hosting your own multi-speaker virtual event with 40-100 speakers. Run by Perfect Publishing, it includes:
- Speaker recruitment and curation
- Event production (Zoom Events / Teams setup, technical run)
- Pre-event speaker training
- Day-of run management with stage manager + producer
- Post-production (recording cleanup, episode publication)
- Marketing and registration management
How it differs from Smile Channel events
| Smile Channel events | EOS-produced events | |
|---|---|---|
| Who runs it | The Smile Channel team | Your team, with PP support |
| Whose audience | The Smile Channel’s | Yours |
| Speakers | Smile Channel members | Whoever you invite |
| Branding | Smile Channel | Yours |
Who EOS is for
- Authors launching books with multi-speaker launch events
- Coaches and consultants running annual signature events
- Nonprofits hosting fundraising galas
- Course creators wanting to introduce 50 speakers to their list
EOS is run by Perfect Publishing and is paid separately from Smile Channel membership. Your Smile Channel membership doesn’t include EOS production. They’re sister services.
How to engage EOS
Contact Perfect Publishing directly through their website (separate from this platform). Include details on your event vision, expected speaker count, and target dates.
Cross-pollination
Speakers at EOS-produced events can have those episodes added to their Smile Channel profiles afterward, just like any other speaking appearance. The two systems play well together.
