If your card expires, gets replaced, or you want to switch to a different one, here’s how to update.
Where to update
- Dashboard → Settings → Billing
- Click “Update payment method”
- Enter new card details
- Save
The change takes effect immediately. Your next billing cycle uses the new card.
What if your card has already failed?
If a renewal already failed (card declined), Stripe automatically retries 3 times over a week. To avoid the retry cycle:
- Update the payment method as above
- Click “Retry payment” on the failed-payment notice
- Stripe charges the new card immediately
If you don’t update before all retries fail, your account drops to Free at the end of the period. You can re-upgrade anytime.
Card details live with Stripe, not with us. We only see the last 4 digits and the expiration date for display purposes. You can change cards as often as you like.
Switching to PayPal or vice versa
Currently we accept credit/debit cards via Stripe and (in some regions) PayPal. To switch payment processors, contact support — there’s a small manual step we handle on our end.
Multiple cards on file
You can have one primary card on file at a time. We don’t currently support backup cards. If you want to test a new card without disrupting your subscription, wait until just after a successful renewal, then change.
