Robby Wells

American politician and former college football coach

Robby Wells (born April 10, 1968) is an American politician, educator, and former collegiate football coach. He is best known for serving as the head football coach at Savannah State University from 2008 to 2009 and for multiple runs for U.S. president across different election cycles. Wells played college football at Furman University, where he was part of a national championship team, and later built a career in coaching, including roles as a defensive coordinator and head coach. Beyond sports, he has been active in politics, running as an independent and seeking nominations from various parties, including the Democratic Party.
