Fred Johnson

Fred Johnson was born in New Kensington Pennsylvania (GO STEELERS). After graduating from high school in Carlisle Pennsylvania in 1980, Fred enrolled in the Cheyney University of Pennsylvania where he majored in social relations with a concentration on criminal justice. While in college, Fred enrolled in the Reserve Officer Training Corps (ROTC) Program and upon graduation from college in 1984, Fred simultaneously received his Bachelor of Arts Degree and a commission as a Second Lieutenant in the United States Army Reserves with an appointment to active duty status. Fred served on active duty status from 1984 to 1993. He returned to civilian life in 1994 and then came back to serve on active duty in from 2001 until his retirement in 2012. Fred is married to the former Miss Coleathea Gilbert of Philadelphia Pennsylvania. Together they have two adult children who are happily married to their spouses, and currently one grandson with the expectation of many more to come. Fred's many titles include those of Son, Brother, Husband, Father, Pop Pop and Friend. But the title Fred holds most dear to his heart is "Servant" and "Child" of the Most High God and his Lord and SAVIOR JESUS CHRIST.
