.Dr. Hattie N. Washington is an award-winning author, renowned educator/professor, international speaker, AI consultant, and retired university vice president. She made history as the first female Vice President of Coppin State University in its 100-year history.
First and foremost, she is the proud mother of two accomplished daughters—one a physician and the other an attorney—and the proud mother of her first foster son, an IT Cybersecurity Engineer with over 16 years of experience.
Her commitment to children and families led her to establish Aunt Hattie’s Place, Inc. in 1997. For 22 years, Dr. Washington, together with her handpicked staff—including her younger daughter, raised scores of foster boys with special needs, providing them with a nurturing environment designed to help them become confident, responsible, and successful young men.
Dr. Washington is President/CEO of Washington Publishing Enterprises and the author of several books, including DRIVEN TO SUCCEED, DETERMINADA A TRIUNFAR, Aunt Hattie’s Cookbook, THE AI TOOLKIT FOR TEACHERS MADE EASY, and her newest book, HAPPY MOTHERHOOD EveryDay™: Raising Confident, Compassionate, and Competent Children—While Staying Balanced Yourself.
