About
Diane Strand is a multi-award-winning entrepreneur, executive producer, best-selling author, nonprofit founder, TEDx speaker, and Lead Columnist for Authority Magazine. As majority owner of JDS Video & Media Productions and JDS Actors Studio, and founder of the 501(c)(3) JDS Creative Academy, she advances inclusive arts education and creative workforce development across visual, performing, and digital arts.
Diane is the creator, executive producer & cohost of the ABC broadcasted and nationally streamed television series Spirit of Innovation: Arts Across America and has written two state-approved job-training curriculums. Strand has launched over 100 creative careers into the mainstream entertainment industry. Her CreativePreneur and Arts Across America coaching programs support leaders in creating sustainable businesses nationwide.
A committed community leader, she serves on committees for the Temecula Valley Chamber of Commerce and holds notable executive board roles with Southern California Wine Country Economic Development Coalition and Riverside County Workforce Development Board.
Before entrepreneurship, Diane built a distinguished Hollywood career with credits on General Hospital, Friends, and Veronica’s Closet, produced for Barbra Streisand, contributed to Universal Creative, and served as an in-house producer for Disney Channel during the launches of Playhouse Disney and Toon Disney.
Guided by her mission of H.O.P.E. – Helping One Person Everyday, Diane continues to empower diverse abilities, strengthen community impact, and champion her mission Arts Across America.
