About
Dr. Mark Perloe, is a retired reproductive endocrinologist whose career has spanned three decades of clinical practice, medical research, international health consulting, and patient advocacy. Educated at Penn State and the University of Minnesota, he served as Medical Director of Georgia Reproductive Specialists and was repeatedly named among Atlanta Magazine's Top Doctors for Infertility. He founded IVF.com, one of the earliest online resources for fertility patients, and co-authored the book Miracle Babies. He has consulted internationally on women's health and helped establish the first approved endoscopy-training center in the former Soviet Union.
Since retiring, Mark has entered what he calls a second act — co-authoring the children's book Milo's Superpower with his cousin, a second-grade teacher, volunteering in pet therapy with his dog Andrew at an airport, senior living facilities, and a school for children on the autism spectrum, and advocating for men with prostate cancer, drawing on his own recent diagnosis and treatment. He writes regularly on medicine, patient empowerment, and what he describes as the intersection of acceptance and agency.
